From the field
Money, time, and headaches saved.
“Per-job profit is the one I missed most coming over from QuickBooks. I caught a tile job that was bleeding 11 points on subs — fixed the bid template, never made the same mistake again. Easily $30K back in the first year.”
Jamal T.
Owner · 2 crews · Atlanta metro
“Switched our $40K/mo card volume to ACH on customer portals. We were paying about $1,400 a month in Stripe fees. Now it's closer to $200. That's a truck payment, every month.”
Sarah K.
Office manager · 3 crews · Central Florida
“I used to write estimates in the truck on a yellow pad and rebuild them at home. Now I measure, pick the carpet, and the customer signs before I leave the driveway. Closing same-day is a different business.”
Mike R.
Owner-operator · 1 crew · Tucson, AZ
“I install garage coatings and most CRMs don't even have surface prep as a line. This one does. Estimates go out same-day with the prep, the broadcast tier, and the cure window all on the page.”
Dave P.
Coatings shop · solo · Northern Colorado
“We're a small hardwood shop and the booking link alone has been worth it. Customers pick a measure window, it lands on the calendar, nobody has to call back.”
Linda C.
Co-owner · 2 crews · Upstate NY
“My installers hate apps. This one they actually use because it's just the day's stops, the photos, and clock-in. No training, no complaints.”
Carlos M.
Operations lead · 4 crews · South Texas

Common questions
Good to know.
Is VEVVO actually built for flooring or is it a generic CRM?+
Purpose-built. Sqft pricing, waste factors, crew-day scheduling, before/during/after photos, and a services catalog tuned to install lines — none of that is bolted on. We use it ourselves on real installs.
How long until I'm sending real estimates?+
About five minutes. Sign up, drop your logo, pick a couple of services from the starter catalog, and your first branded PDF estimate is ready to send.
Do I really not need a credit card to start?+
Correct. The Free plan is genuinely free — 15 active jobs at a time, unlimited customers, magic-link portal, Stripe card and ACH, and email support all included. No expiring trial, ever.
Will my crew actually use the mobile app?+
It's a PWA — your crew installs it from the browser like any app and uses it from the truck. The mobile view shows today's stops, time clock, and photo upload. No training required.
What happens to my data if I leave?+
Export everything as CSV — customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, payments, and photos — straight from Settings. You own your data, always.
I run jobs out of my truck. Will this slow me down?+
No. The crew view is built for the field — clock in, snap before/during/after photos that auto-tag to the job, and mark a stop complete with one tap. Works offline-tolerant; syncs when you're back on signal.
I already use QuickBooks. Do I have to switch?+
Keep QuickBooks. VEVVO handles the operational side — pipeline, scheduling, photos, estimates, invoices, payments — then drops a bookkeeper-ready CSV export of invoices and payments your accountant imports straight in. We don't replace your books; we feed them clean numbers.
How do you handle deposits and milestone billing on bigger jobs?+
Built in. Take a deposit at signing, then bill on milestones (demo done, materials delivered, installation complete) with auto-reminders on the customer side. Cards, ACH, and Wisetack financing on Growth & Pro all flow into the same payment record.
What if my customer wants to pay by check or cash?+
Record it manually against the invoice — the job stays in sync, the AR aging report stays accurate, and your bookkeeper export still ties out. No forcing customers onto digital payments if they're not ready.
How do you handle subcontractors and 1099s?+
Growth and Pro include 1099-contractor management with mobile timesheets, GPS check-in, and an optional payroll add-on that uses Stripe Connect Express to pay subs directly. Year-end 1099 reports are exportable straight from Settings.
What about customer reviews — do I have to chase them manually?+
Not on Growth or Pro. Review requests auto-send after every install with a one-tap link to Google or Facebook. Add warranty / follow-up reminders on top and your finished jobs keep working for you long after the crew has driven off.
